- James Gilbert is currently the Supervisor of Instruction for the Regional Training Center in Randolph, NJ - a provider of graduate education course in conjunction with TCNJ and La Salle University. He was formerly an English teacher in the North Rockland Central School District (Lower Hudson Valley, NY) for 34 years. He has been an instructor for several NY, PA and NJ college since 1995, and served as Secondary Ed coordinator at Nyack College (NY.) Mr. Gilbert is a national trainer for Linda Albert’s Cooperative Discipline. His other areas of expertise include differentiated instruction, the multiple intelligences, enhancing students’ thinking skills, motivation and teacher wellness. He is often called upon to do staff developments, workshops and keynote addresses on these subjects throughout New York, Pennsylvania and New Jersey. With a B.A. in English Literature, Mr. Gilbert earned an M.S. in Secondary Education/English from the University of Bridgeport (CT).
